Small Groups

Our small group ministry exists to promote God-centered fellowship and community in our congregation. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.” The body of Christ is strengthened when its members build relationships with each other based on their common faith. Small groups provide an avenue for this to take place. They are also vital in helping new comers form relationships and get connected to the life of the church.

Our small groups have three key elements:

Prayer

Groups spend time each week sharing prayer requests and praying for one another. As participants share their lives with one another in the context of prayer, it binds the group together and directs it toward God.

Discipleship

Our small group leaders use a wide range of content to facilitate discussion and stimulate discipleship. Some groups discuss the sermon, others go through a video series or read a book together, or study a book of the Bible.

Fellowship

Every week small groups devote time exclusively to fellowship. The group builds relationships and walks through life together, gathering strength from one another to follow Christ in every area of life.
