Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry

“The only reliable motive for encouraging women’s ministry in the local church is an insatiable longing to see the display of God’s glory in the local church.”

J. Ligon Duncan, Women’s Ministry in the Local Church
To that end, the display of God’s glory at Faith Covenant, we have developed five ministry areas to give our women the opportunity to serve where they have interest and giftedness.

Please consider where you desire to serve to see the Lord glorified, our church members loved and cared for, and our community changed. We are praying for you!

Bible Study Ministry Director: Kristin Bay

In order that the women of Faith Covenant might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding  (Col. 1:9), we gather for the study of the Word. Our hope is to give glory to God in our study and to be better equipped by His grace to love our neighbor. Join us Wednesdays at 9:30 (with childcare) or at 12:30 or 4:30 for studies in Esther (Fall 2022).

Join us as we pray for each woman at Faith Covenant, communicating love and encouragement. Together we will give glory to our Heavenly Father for His powerful work through our faithful prayers for his daughters – our sisters in Christ.

Mercy Ministry Director: Dawn Tinkham

Our Good Shepherd, the One who came to serve and not be served, calls us to feed the hungry, cloth the naked, care for the sick, and visit the prisoner (Matt. 25:34-40). As we do these things for others, we do them as to Christ Himself. You can serve our brothers and sisters through Feed the Flathead, Helping Hands, Cordial Connections, Feed the Family and/or Foster Parent Support.

Gatherings: Kim Hansen

We seek to gather together and several times throughout the year for lunch or tea, and love our new moms at baby showers. These events allow us to fellowship together, sustain existing relationships, and build new ones, encouraging one another to love and good works. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Retreat Ministry Director: TBD

Our desire is to provide our women with an opportunity to come away together and be refreshed by the Word of God and fellowship with their sisters in Christ. May the Lord be glorified as we gather to study, love and encourage one another.

To God be the Glory Hallelujah, Amen!
